El pasado 27 de abril de 2009, mi amiga Verónica y yo tuvimos la chance de volar a Santiago de Chile, donde a-ha actuaría al día siguiente en el Estadio Movistar Arena siendo uno de los 3 artistas del Festival llamado "Música de los 80´s. Los otros: Blondie y Rick Astley.
Last April 27th 2009, my friend Verónica and me have got the chance to fly to Santiago de Chile; where a-ha would play on the next day in the Movistar Arena Stadium. The Festival was called "80´s Music" and also partook Blondie and Rick Astley.
A-ha también había llegado al aeropuerto de Santiago provenientes de Brasil (país donde ofrecieron 3 conciertos) el 27.04.2009 a las 20:00.
A-ha had arrived to the Aiport of Santiago coming from Brazil (country where they played 3 gigs) on April 27th at 8:00 p.m.

Temprano en la mañana del sábado 28, mismo día del concierto, supimos que a-ha estaba hospedado en el Hotel Sheraton de Santiago y hacia allí Vero y yo nos dirijimos!
Early morning on Saturday 28th, the same concert day, we knew a-ha were lodged at the Sheraton Hotel of Santiago, and Vero & I went straight there!

Dando vueltas en el loby y la piscina del Sheraton pensaba que tendríamos alguna oportunidad de ver a Morten, Pål ó Mags. Una persona del festival nos dejó saber que a-ha había salido a recorrer la ciudad.
We were looking for the hotel loby and swimming pool thinking about to have a chance to meet Morten, Pål or Mags. A guy from the festival let us know a-ha had left and they were strolling around the city.

Sentados con Vero en el bar del hotel esperamos alertas...
El primero en llegar fué Pål!! Tomé mi filmadora y fuí a su encuentro. Pål estaba con algunos fans tomandose fotos frente a la puerta de entrada al hotel. Lo saludé, le presenté a Vero le dije que viajábamos especialmente desde Argentina para ver el concierto y le pregunté por Lauren, su esposa. El nos autografió algún material y me dijo que en esta ocasión Lauren no había venido ya que la gira era muy corta!!☺☺
Finalmente nos despedimos de Pål deseándole suerte para el concierto de esa noche.
Sat with Vero in the Hotel Bar we were expecting...
The first to come was Pål!! I shot the moment with my handycam and we went straight to him. Pål was in the Hotel entrance with a couple of fans signing autographs and taking photos. I say hello, introduce to Vero, I told him we were coming from Argentina just to see the concert from that night and I asked him for Lauren, his wife. Pål signed some stuff to Vero and me and he answered Lauren had not join on tour this time as it was really too short!! ☺☺
Finally we said goodbye and we wished Pål all the best for the concert for that night.

Un tiempo después llegaron Morten y Mags.
Desafortunadamente como todos los fans rodearon a Morten, Mags huyó raudo dentro del hotel y no lo pudimos volver a ver!!!
Morten, como es habitual en él, muy amablemente permitió a los fans tomarse fotos a su lado y firmó un montón de autógrafos tanto a fans chilenos como argentinos!!
Me autografió 2 fotos gigantes que había llevado conmigo desde Buenos Aires!! También pude filmarlo y le pedí un saludo para la Argentina!! (pueden ver el video de Morten saludando a la Argentina en el post Nº 4)
Some time after Morten and Mags came!!
Unfortunately as all fans surrounded to Morten, Mags ran away inside the hotel and we couldn´t see him anymore!...
As it´s usual on him, Morten very kindly posed with several fans for some pictures and signed a lot of autographs to both Chilenian and Argentinian fans!!
He signed 2 big photos I had taken with me from Buenos Aires!! I could shot a Morten and I asked a greeting to Argentina!! (you can watch that video on the post Nr. 4)
Quiero agradecer muy especialmente a la familia de Vero; quienes viven en Chile, y me hospedaron en su hogar como un miembro más de su familia! Jamás olvidaré su amabilidad y generosidad. Muchas gracias Sonia, Alfredo y Adriana!!
I just want to say many many thanks to Vero´s family who live in Chile; as they lodged to me in their home as another member of the family! I´ll never forget their kindness and generosity. Thank you so much Sonia, Alfredo and Adriana!!
Así mismo quiero destacar la simpatía de los hermanos chilenos quienes en todo momento nos trataron muy bien! Tuve el placer de conocer a Gonzalo, un fan chileno, quien me envió varias de las fotos que muestro en el presente post; como así también algunas fotos tomadas por Eliana y Daniel. Dos fans argentinos muy felices disfrutando de a-ha en Santiago!!☺☺
I must also mention how kind "Chilenian brothers" were with us!! I was lucky enough to meet to Gonzalo, a Chilenian fan who sent me several pics that I´m showing you in the present post; as well as some photos taken by Eliana & Daniel. Two very happy Argentinian fans who were enjoying with a-ha in Santiago!!☺☺

There were 18 years since I´d not see a-ha playing live!! It was just an overwhelming night!! And I
was lucky enough to shoot the whole concert!!☺Vero and I lived "Two Dreams on Chile"!! (in fact, there were many more than two!!)
